  • What is Coaching (and Christian Coaching)

Coaching is a relationship which is designed and defined, collaboratively by the Client and Coach, and which is based on the Client’s expressed interests, objectives and goals.

The Coach uses focused discussion, questions and requests to assist the Client as they identify personal, professional, business, team or organizational goals, develop strategies and action plans intended to achieve such goals, and monitor progress towards implementation of the action plans.

The Client is responsible for their own achievements and success and the Coach cannot and does not promise that the Client will take any specific action or attain any specific goals. The Client enters into the Coaching Agreement with the understanding that the decision, control and responsibility to make any changes rest with you the client.

Coaching is different from counseling.

The objective of counseling is to help people address and resolve problems that make them feel bad emotionally, or are impairing their ability to function well. This can include healing from Anxiety, Depression, Mood Disorders, Trauma, issues with their family of origin, their relationships, ADHD, Addictions and many other common problems. It’s understood that unless and until these problems are resolved it will be difficult for people to make significant changes in their lives.

The objective of coaching is to help people achieve their goals. The basic presumption of coaching is that coaching clients are in a good place mentally and emotionally, and ready to receive guidance and instruction on how to make changes that will help them achieve their goals. The work focuses on creating and maintaining motivation for change, exploring obstacles to change, and creating plans for change.

Any issue that requires specific, special expertise, credentials or licenses will be referred. This may arise around legal, psychotherapy, medical, accounting, investment or tax issues. You understand I do not hold these credentials.

Christian coaching is an approach to the practice of professional coaching as described above, whether focused on personal or professional growth, which integrates the biblical worldview when working with clients to recognize their potential and effect personal change.

  • Our Coaching Arrangements

Please contact us to discuss coaching packages.

This agreement will continue month to month within the period of validity of this agreement until cancelled by either coach or client, at any time. No reason or cause shall be required for either coach or client to terminate this agreement.

Fees are to be paid upfront. Fees are payable in AUD. Coaching sessions can only be scheduled if payment has been received and (if required) commercial invoice will be issued accordingly.

You can terminate the coaching arrangement anytime. Pro rata refund will be given based on the number of days left in the arrangement divided by the number of days already paid for. For example if you have paid for full month of coaching engagement for April 2017 (30 days) and you decide to terminate on 20 Apr 2017, refund will be given as: 10 / 30 * monthly coaching fee.

If you think your circumstances require special consideration, please ask to speak to your coach.

Australian clients are subject to 10% GST. All coaching fees are based on Skype sessions.

If you are being sponsored by an organisation, we will need the signing authority to sign off on the Coaching Agreement which will outline the fees associated.

We will not at any time, either directly or indirectly, use any such information for our own benefit. Unless you have made a special arrangement with another party, or employer, this is a confidential relationship. I do not reveal or discuss any aspects of it with anyone else, unless under subpoena or I am required to report as a professional, a threat of serious harm to yourself or others.

We will meet via Skype as agreed prior, at the pre-scheduled time.

Our policy allows you to cancel or reschedule appointment if it is more 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. In this case feel free to do the rescheduling yourself via our online scheduling system. Appointments cannot be cancelled less than 24 hours before the appointment takes place. Failure to show up for your appointment will will result in you loosing the appointment. By confirming your appointment you have confirmed that you have read and agreed to these conditions.

Please note that there are other clients booked for appointments as well and you can only reschedule your appointments as much as our schedule could allow it and as long as your package is still valid.

Unfortunately many people cancel their appointments simply because they have changed their mind or something has come up & their appointment is no longer convenient. Please understand that by canceling at the last minute, your problem or issue becomes ours.

If you think your circumstances require special consideration, please ask to speak to your coach.
